A sport shop for the river counties
Blythe's Sport Shop is an online store built around St. Louis and the counties that ring it. The gun a buyer in Chesterfield or Arnold wants in October is not the one a Bootheel duck hunter wants in December, so we keep a large live catalog rather than a small counter: whitetail rifles for the November 14-24 firearms portion, turkey guns for April, non-toxic-fed semi-autos for the Middle Zone duck season, carry pistols, rimfire and the ammunition to feed all of it.
Missouri makes the buying part easy. There is no permit to purchase, no registration and no waiting period, so the only step between you and a rifle is the federal check your dealer runs at pickup. You choose that dealer at checkout, close to home in the city, in St. Charles, in Franklin County or wherever you actually live. The details are laid out in our Missouri gun laws guide.
We write a page for each of the twenty-two cities on our city index, with the local deer notes, the nearest public range and the county sheriff who issues carry permits. If you are sighting in before the opener, start with the deer season guide and the conservation area ranges it lists.
